Medical food which is formulated to be consumed or administered enterally under the supervision of a physician and which is intended for the specific dietary management of a disease or condition. It was developed for patients with malabsorption caused by Crohn's disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction, ulcerative colitis, insomnia, inherited diseases of amino acids and organic acids.
